Privacy Policy

Content T.O - Toronto's flat-rate, 100% digital content agency.

Effective date: July 2026. This policy is written to comply with Canada's PIPEDA, the EU/UK GDPR, and the California CCPA/CPRA.

1. Who we are

Content T.O ("Content T.O", "we", "us", "our") is a flat-rate, 100% digital content agency based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, operating contentto.ca. For any privacy request, contact our privacy contact at hello@contentto.ca.

2. What we collect

3. Legal bases (GDPR)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on: contract (to deliver a service you buy), consent (for non-essential cookies/analytics and marketing email), legitimate interests (site security, fraud prevention, service improvement), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).

4. Cookies & tracking

We use essential cookies required to run the site (these cannot be switched off) and, only with your consent, anonymous analytics cookies to understand usage. You choose via the cookie banner shown on your first visit, and you can change your choice any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. How we use your data

Only to deliver your order, respond to you, keep the site secure, meet legal obligations, and improve our service. We do not sell your personal information. Ever. We do not "share" it for cross-context behavioural advertising within the meaning of the CCPA/CPRA.

6. Who we share it with

These processors are bound by contract to protect your data and use it only to provide their service to us. Some may process data outside Canada; where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

7. Data retention

We keep order and contact records for as long as needed to deliver the service and to meet legal/tax obligations (generally up to 7 years for financial records), then delete or anonymize them. Chat logs are kept only as long as useful for support.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict your data, to withdraw consent, and to object to certain processing. California residents may request disclosure of data collected and opt out of any "sale"/"sharing" (we do neither), free from discrimination. To exercise any right, email hello@contentto.ca - we respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your data protection authority (in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner).

9. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), reputable processors, and least-access practices. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

10. Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date above shows the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
